HP acquired Aruba Networks. They provide networking software for large scale busy retail enviornments, college campuses, hospitals, museums etc.
Example clients: would be UCSF, Starbucks, Khol’s, Stanford
In addition to a stable and secure network this system also has the ability to track the activity of those entering the space by via cellphone tracking. This is helpful for retailers for merchandising.
The agency was tasked with creating an extensive iconography system for thier enterprise networking system. These icons needed to be in the style of HP versus Aruba Networks.
Over 300 icons were used in this interface all with very similar definitions. The user would be an internal IT team.
Collaboration with 3 UX Designers, 4 software engineers and 5 internal HP marketing managers for this large scale project.
